Brandery Partners with UC Law School

 

The Brandery is excited to announce a new partnership with the University of Cincinnati Law School. The partnership, coined the “Brandery Fellowship Program,” will place four rising UC 3L’s at the Brandery where they will provide Brandery startups with key legal services. The students will be supervised by Professor Lewis Goldfard (Director of the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic at UC) and lawyers from the Taft Law firm. The students will provide services that include entity selection and formation, preparation of operating agreements and IP assignments, and help address other legal issues as they arise. In addition, the students will be allowed to attend the Brandery classes that address the many facets of starting a company (ie. marketing, branding, raising capital, business models, etc.)

We are really excited about this new partnership and hope both the students and the startups will significantly benefit from the experience working with one another.
